Georgia Gravanis Smith is a Greek/Australian model, influencer and wedding planner based in Sydney, Australia. Georgia’s modelling career began at an early age as she featured in many national and international campaigns. One of her highlights in her modelling career was placing as a National Finalist in Miss Universe Australia. Georgia is also passionate about culture, travel and languages, speaking Greek, Japanese and Spanish having studied these languages throughout her schooling in Sydney.
With a Bachelor of Business Degree, Georgia pursued a career in Human Resources however whilst planning her and her husband’s dream wedding in Santorini, she discovered her love for all things weddings and combined her passion for planning and events into an international wedding planning business, Mrs Smith Weddings. Georgia coordinates weddings and events throughout Australia and worldwide, with a strong focus on destination weddings in Greece, drawing upon her Greek culture to deliver unique planning experiences for her brides and grooms.
Georgia and her husband, Josh Smith chose to celebrate their marriage after a 9 year relationship which began in high school as a teenage love story, in the beautiful Greek Island of Santorini due to their love of the country and the close connection she shares with Greece. As an only child, Georgia was brought up by her close family including her mum, Dimi Gravanis and her grandparents, Georgina Gravanis and Chris Gravanis, highlighting the reason as to why Georgia and Josh chose to share their special day in their favourite place in the world, with an intimate setting of 80 people, keeping Greece always in their hearts.
A driven and confident individual, Georgia is currently working on other aspects of her business set to revolutionise the industry.
