He is the Solicitor Director of VC Lawyers in Sydney, a public notary, accredited mediator and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Dion Vertzayas consults and acts for a number of successful property developers and building and landholding companies, private international food and beverage companies, an international technology company, an online leading global travel company and as a notary public to a prominent University.
Dion Vertzayas legal practice is also a pro bono and legal adviser to a number of not for profit associations in NSW including but not limited to a number of Greek brotherhoods and Associations and Greek Orthodox Parish Churches.
Dion Vertzayas also has interests in a pioneering and patent holding tyre, plastic and pyrolysis regenerating energy company and a labour and technology Outsourcing Company.
In his free time, Dion is also an amateur actor having performed in over 20 theatre productions and also having performed in foreign language plays. His present theatre troupe is the Hellenic Art Theatre in Marrickville, Sydney, being a community based (not for profit) theatre group. He has in the past performed with other Greek-Australian Theatre troupes.
During his university years at the University of New South Wales Dion was President of the UNSW Hellenic Society and Student Representative of the Arts & Social Science Faculty.
Dion is fluent in English, Greek, French and German.
Dion Vertzayas is also on the Panel of the Greek Consulate General of Sydney.
