Antonios Aristodemou was born in 1929, in Limassol, Cyprus. He was a virtuoso chanter who taught and celebrated the liturgical music of the Orthodox Church in Sydney and Adelaide respectively. To honour and recognise his significant contribution, the Ecumenical Patriarchate bestowed upon him the title of Archon Protopsaltis. Antonios sadly passed away in December 2000 at the age of 71 years.
